Australian Iconic Tours had to cancel many tours in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid19 border closures. Every Single Traveller has received a Full Refund of all payments made. We, Australian Iconic Tours, are not handling the situation any different in 2022.
If relevant borders (your home state and state your tour is travelling in) are closed prior to tour departure all our travellers receive a full refund.
If by law you are required to quarantine for 7-14 days upon arrival in the state where your booked tour departs from, Australian Iconic Tours is accepting your cancellation as a covid-related cancellation and travellers are receiving a full refund. Quarantine requirements are changing constantly and your cancellation is not accepted until two days prior departure.
If by law you are required to quarantine for 7-14 days when returning to your home state, Australian Iconic Tours is accepting your cancellation as a covid-related cancellation before tour departure and travellers are receiving a full refund. Quarantine requirements are changing constantly and your cancellation is not accepted until two days prior departure.
If you contract Covid19 or any other illness prior or on tour, we offer no refund. We highly recommend to have travel insurance in place covering you for any illness including contracting Covid19. There are a number of travel insurances covering you and your travel companion, if you contract Covid19.
If you are a close contact of a Covid19 case and have to isolate, we offer no refund. We highly recommend to have appropriate travel insurance in place.
It is up to each traveller to check the relevant state government websites about regular updates on declared Hot Spots, Covid19 Test and Vaccination Requirements, and State Entry Applications. If your state entry is declined due to you not following the entry requirements, Australian Iconic Tours does not provide any refund.
Please note: If you have made a payment by credit card, we cannot refund credit card fees. These are bank related charges which cannot be recovered.

Australian Iconic Tours recommends to our passengers to have personal travel insurance.
It can cover the loss or damage to your personal items, illness or injury while on tour or short notice cancellation on your part. Travel insurance may also cover you before and after our tour. Having no travel insurance can get very cost intensive and it is better to travel with a good peace of mind. Australian Iconic Tours has no affiliation with any travel insurance and cannot give any advise on which insurance company to use.
Should you cancel your tour due to medical reasons , you may be able to reclaim cancellation charges, if the reason for cancellation is covered by your travel insurance. Australian Iconic Tours cannot advice you on how to make your claim. You must deal directly with your Insurance Company. We will send you a Cancellation Confirmation.
If any person with whom you are sharing a room should cancel, and you wish to continue with your holiday as planned, we will make every effort to transfer you to a suitable room, if available. If this is not possible, or if this results in any additional charges, we reserve the right to pass on these charges to you.
If, after booking your tour, you are prevented from travelling and wish to transfer the booking to another person, Australian Iconic Tours will agree as long as the other person satisfies all the conditions applicable to the package, and subject to both persons accepting joint and several liabilities for full payment of the package price.
Australian Iconic Tours has the well-being of all travellers in mind.
If you are unwell before joining the tour or on the morning of departure, it is your obligation to disclose any pre-existing medical or other condition that may affect the risk that either you or any other person will suffer injury, loss or damage.
A number of tours take us on dirt road tracks to remote locations and emergency assistance may take several hours to arrive. If you are unwell, travelling can make an illness or condition worse.
If you suffer any injury or illness, Australian Iconic Tours may provide evacuation, first aid and medical treatment at your expense. By joining our tour, you accept these terms and conditions and consent to such evacuation, first aid and/or medical treatment.
Requests for changing the booking to another departure date within the Full Refund Terms will incur no amendment fee.
Requests for changing the booking to another departure date within the No Refund Terms will be treated as a cancellation.
